Swiss Post owns subsidiaries: Post CH Ltd, PostFinance Ltd and PostBus Ltd.
Swiss Post also offers its customers express delivery and courier delivery of mail and cargo. Express delivery in Switzerland is carried out during the day. Courier delivery within the country ranges from 1.5 to several hours. Swiss Post international shipping has certain requirements:
- maximum parcel weight - 30 kg;
- maximum parcel sizes are 1000 x 600 x 700 mm.
Track your shipment status
On the Swiss Post website you can find out the cost of shipping documents and parcels. Also on the main page of the site you can track the status of the mail. To do this, in the special field you must enter the number of departure. This number is assigned to the parcel at its registration.
Switzerland Post numbers consist of two capital letters in the beginning, nine digits and capital letters CH at the end. The first letter of the number depends on the type of shipment: R for small packages, C for parcels and E for express shipments. The combination of letters CH means that the Swiss Post service is from Switzerland.
