UPS Package Tracking

UPS is an internationally known and recognized logistics service with an impeccable reputation that has earned the trust of customers not only in the U.S. but globally as well.

Below you will find all the essential information about UPS that every customer should know. We will also cover the details on how to track your goods.

About United Parcel Service (UPS)

Founded in 1907, UPS is now a global leader in the field of courier services and logistics, along with such well-known companies as FedEx and DHL. It provides services all over the world.

The brand has a range of affiliated companies, but its main focus is the delivery of postal items, both across the U.S. and to many other countries worldwide.

Tracking Number

If your order was sent via UPS, you will receive a unique tracking number that you can use to track it.

A UPS tracking number is usually an 18-character combination of letters and numbers. UPS tracking numbers often begin with the letter IZ. An example of a tracking number:

IZ 888 AA3 02 8374 8383.

You can track your UPS parcels on its official website, but it is much easier to do this on our website, MegabonusParcel tracking. Read on below for more information about how to use it.

How to Track UPS

Our service allows users to track parcels sent by various postal services around the world, including UPS. We offer a modern, completely free, user-friendly AI-powered tracking solution.

To find out the current status of your order, just enter a unique tracking number of your shipment into the form on our website (see the screenshot below).

Then click on "Track the shipment", and in a moment you will receive all available logistics information about your order.

The restrictions applied to individual UPS packages are as follows.

  • Weight up to 150 lbs
  • Dimensions up to 165 inches in length and girth combined
  • Length up to 108 inches

Additional recalculations will be applied to parcels that exceed these limits. Also, shipment of such goods requires the use of UPS Freight services or UPS Worldwide Express Freight.

The restrictions listed above apply to most parcels and destinations, but they may vary for some countries due to local requirements.

Delivery Terms

The delivery time depends on the country to which the package is shipped. The following factors may also affect the delivery period.

  • Size and weight of the postal item
  • Shipping method
  • National holidays and different events (Christmas, Ramadan, Black Friday, etc.)
  • Unforeseen circumstances (accidents, customs clearance problems, etc.)

To find out an estimated delivery time, you can use the calculator on the UPS website. Enter the country and city of departure and destination of your parcel, as well as the date of shipment. The system will give you an approximate and maximum possible duration. You can also enter information about your parcel there to find out how much it will cost to ship it.

Shipping Geography

UPS currently operates in over 220 countries and territories. Keep in mind that different countries may have specific regulations. For further information about services for your country, look for the details on the official UPS website.

Tracking Statuses

If you track your UPS item through Megabonus Parcel tracking service, you can get the following (or similar) statuses. For your convenience, we will also provide a brief explanation of the meaning of each logistics status.

  • Order received. The package has been received and is awaiting the pick-up/drop off.
  • Pick up scan. The parcel has been received and is being processed.
  • Departure scan. The item has been scanned and prepared for dispatch.
  • Parcel arrived at the depot. The package has arrived at the closest depot to its destination.
  • Out for the delivery. The UPS item is out for delivery (if you see this status, it means that somebody has to pick up the parcel and sign for it).
  • Returned. The parcel is not delivered, damaged, there is a problem in a logistics process, etc.

If you have received any of these statuses but are concerned that there is an error in the tracking of your goods, you should contact UPS directly. Megabonus has no control over the delivery.
